First of all, that last journal entry was executed terribly and I should have been slapped for it.

Second of all, I am proud to announce that I have an interview with Disney on the 18th! I was offered the interview about 45 minutes after I submitted my application. Seeing as how I didn't get one the last few times, I wanted to try and avoid giving myself a jinks. Have to see what happens, the interview is to become a Parade Support Driver. Since it's still considered an entry level position, the interview is still open to any position that they are looking to fill.

Else where, I am become a lighting technician at the church I've been going to. I've now shadowed a few Sundays and I got my first hands on experience this past Thursday. Surprisingly, it's a Windows based system, I would have though that it would have been Mac. I'm working with a Hog lighting system with a third monitor added on. I've got a basic understand so far and I look forward to furthering my knowledge in the weeks to come. Once I start actually running the live performances, I'm sure I'll post a link to the live webcasts online, have to see what happens.

Looks like good things are coming, lets see where it goes. In the mean time, Flaming Dr. Peppers to celebrate along with a Dinosaur themed prom!

UPDATE: Completed the interview and it went quite well! First thing I was asked about the 12 tardies I had. The recruited seemed impressed with my answer of having a 130 mile drive to get to work and was happy to know that I no longer had to do that (I'm now closer to about 35 miles away). Outside of that, it was just  basic questions about tattoos and willingness to work indoor/outdoor/hot/cold/solo/group more or less. I am supposed to be contacted again some time next week to schedule a second interview with an entertainment manager. The reason for the second interview is because I was not required to complete the online personality quiz. I should know at the end of the second interview if they are going to offer me the position or not. The recruiter I talked to today also seemed to want to keep me around possibly for other roles if entertainment doesn't want me, so I'm very happy with how this is going so far.
